What FlockWatch does
FlockWatch shows publicly mapped ALPR camera locations near you (from OpenStreetMap) on your phone and watch, with proximity alerts.
Data
- Your location is used to find nearby cameras and for proximity alerts. To fetch camera data, your approximate search area is sent to the OpenStreetMap Overpass API — that request is how the map data is retrieved, and it is governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy.
- We run no server of our own and receive none of your location data ourselves.
- Camera reports you choose to submit go to OpenStreetMap as map edits under your own OSM account, if you sign in there.
- No account in FlockWatch itself, no ads, no analytics trackers, and the app is free.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Period.
Children
FlockWatch is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
