What WristLab does
WristLab runs sensor experiments on your Wear OS watch (and paired phone): motion, magnetic, light, pressure, microphone, and location sensors, with graphs, recording, and CSV export.
Data
- Sensor readings are processed on your device and are not transmitted to us or any server.
- Recordings (CSV) are created only when you start a recording, are stored on your device, and are shared only when you use the export/share function yourself.
- Location is used only while a GPS experiment is running, to show speed/position in that experiment. It is not tracked in the background and not stored by us.
- The microphone is used only while a sound experiment is running, to measure level and frequency. Audio is analyzed on-device and is not recorded or uploaded by us (separate from CSV sensor recordings you start yourself).
- The watch and phone companion communicate over Bluetooth (Wear OS Data Layer) directly between your own devices.
- No account, no ads, no analytics or crash-reporting trackers that identify you. Google Play may collect standard purchase and install data under Google's own policies for the one-time Pro unlock.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing. Period.
Children
WristLab is not directed at children under 13.
